- 1/4 c. buttermilk
- 3/4 c. sour cream
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 315 gr. chopped dark chocolate
- 1 c. chopped pecans
1. Put the applesauce loaf bread in the fridge for about 1 hour, then measure it and with the help of some toothpicks mark the point where you are going to slice the bread, first cut it in half and then each of them again in half.
2. In a medium pot at low heat melt butter with buttermilk then add chocolate and stir until it looks creamy, remove from heat and let it cool for about 10 minutes. Add sour cream and powdered sugar until it thickens. Cover the bottom layer with fudge frosting, top it with another layer of loaf bread and continue with fudge....
|[ chocolate should look creamy and shiny before adding sugar ]|
|I added some chopped pecans on the second layer just because I like them|
3. When you are done with the layers of bread and fudge cover the whole "cake" with fudge then fill your hand with chopped pecans and press them on the sides of the cake.
